Meet Sakura

I met Sakura on my last trip to Japan. She works as a PR at PR01 agency representing the coolest fashion brands, including Cannabis boutique were Kriss Soonik collections are stocked and where we had our last Tokyo event. Sakura is one of the most stylish girls I have met. She has a very strong personal style and knows how to mix our designs into her outfits. We had a chat with her about Tokyo and her style, here´s what she told us...
What are your top 3 favourite places in Tokyo?
Harajuku, Shibuya & Ginza!
Harajuku - area where new fashion & culture trends are born, a very hip part of town.
Shibuya - area of Tokyo, where fashion, culture & music emerge and mix. It’s super crazy but fun!
Ginza – more traditional neighbourhood.

What's one thing everyone needs to do when visiting Tokyo?
Make sure to visit some traditional buildings, see the beautiful landscape and have dinner at a nice Japanese restaurant. I’d also recommend to visit the Harajuku area in order to experience the Japanese fashion & culture. I think that young people in Harajuku represent really well contemporary Japanese fashion & culture.

Tell us a little bit about your personal style.
I wear clothes that fit my lifestyle and the occasion. When I go to the beach, I like to wear a cover up over a bikini with Vans sneakers. On a night out I usually put on a dress with a biker jacket. And on a lazy weekend to a brunch with my girlfriends I’d dress up my casual outfit with a Kriss Soonik Susan Lace Top.

What are your favourite fashion brands?
If I had to name one it would be Prada.

What do you think why Japanese women like Kriss Soonik?
I think that every Japanese woman wants to be strong yet elegant and Kriss Soonik products have both of those qualities.

What´s your personal favorite piece from the collections and why? How do you wear it?
Kristel Turtleneck Suspender Top as it was my first ever Kriss Soonik piece. It’s stylish and has a bit of a sexy edge. I love that you can wear as a regular top, with the suspenders showing. I keep the styling simple and pair it with skinny jeans. It truly is a special piece of clothing.
