How to take care of your lingerie

Here it is! Our very first lingerie soap! Kriss Soonik has teamed up with organic household items’ brand Mulieres! Together we created an all-natural lingerie soap that cleans up your delicate garments without ruining their beauty.

It is a real treat for your lingerie and hands. Mulieres x Kriss Soonik lingerie soap is pure and unscented. It is perfect for hand-washing your delicate underwear whilst also moisturising your hands. This natural soap bar contains no added colours, herbs or essential oils that could easily irritate your skin. Instead it is full of lovely natural ingredients like coconut oil and olive oil to keep your skin and lingerie soothed.

With the launch of our own lingerie soap, it is a good time to talk about how to take care of your lingerie! A proper care of your precious garments will help to enhance their life-span. Hand-washing is the gentlest way to wash your garments. We prefer to hand wash delicate underwear, i.e. lacey and embellished items. So we have gathered some easy-to-follow tips and tricks on how to take care of your favourite pieces.

 

2. Gently rub the soap between your hands in the water so the water would get soapy.

3. Let the lingerie soak for at least ten minutes (not more than 30 minutes). After this rub the soap gently at any part of your lingerie. If needed, refill the basin with clean water and let your lingerie soak in 5 more minutes.

4. Rinse well using tepid or cold water until the soapy water is gone. Press the item against the sink or basin to release excess water. Do not twist or wring it as the garment could lose its shape!

5. Finally, lay the garment flat to dry in its original shape. Then roll the item in the towel to remove excess water. You can repeat it several times. Afterwards lay the item flat or hang to dry. Never put delicate items in the dryer!
