Get Ready to Be Love Bombed!
With Valentines approaching fast Kriss Soonik has teamed up with 9 other amazing independent lingerie brands to shower you with love and gifts. If you think independent brands are in competition with each other then guess again. Seeing all the designers at every season´s trade show is like meeting your family after six months of separation. We keep lusting after each other’s designs and talking knickers all day long. So when Catherine from Kiss Me Deadly approached us with the idea of joining for the Independent Lingerie Brands Big Love-In for this Valentine´s, we were more than thrilled to jump on board.
So what really are independent or boutique brands? Boutique brands are usually the quirky designer brands that you find in small boutiques and department stores rather than mainstream shopping centres. We are not afraid to take risks and experiment with new ideas, many of which are picked up by the mainstream once sales figures are proved. Indie lingerie brands can be anything from one person companies making their own items up to companies that have quite a few employees but have grown up all on their own. The brands don´t have a massive corporation bankrolling them or the huge corporate megastructure that exists behind mainstream brands. We love our customers and it´s genuinely important to us to know what you think, as we´ll then create our new designs and tweak old ones based on your feedback. When for the big corporate brands dealing with customers has become quite automatic and lifeless then you´ll often speak directly to the designers at independent brands.
Starting on Monday 30th January, each day one independent lingerie brand will be offering a giveaway or competition, while the other 9 brands will explain exactly what they adore about the featured brand, and which item they would love to receive as a Valentines gift. We even put together a sumptuous photoshoot which you can already see on The Lingerie Addict´s blog and below.
