Fridays with Kriss – The Creative Mind Never Rests

I have a confession. This past week, I was on holiday. I promised myself I'd switch off from work completely.

It lasted approximately 47 minutes.

There I was, supposedly relaxing, when I noticed the way light caught the water at sunset. Then a woman's dress at a beachside café, the way it moved. By day three, I'd laid the first foundations for our Spring/Summer 2026 collection.

Here's the thing about running a brand that's so deeply personal: you can't really separate yourself from it. Inspiration doesn't wait for office hours. It strikes when I'm walking through markets, noticing how curtains catch morning light, or lying on a beach "relaxing".

Sometimes it feels like my brain has other plans entirely. But I wouldn't have it any other way. These unexpected sparks? They're where collections are born.

Spring/Summer 2026 is going to be fun – lightness, ease, movement. I can't tell you everything yet, but while most people were building sandcastles this week, I was building something else entirely.

So thank you for being part of this journey. You're the reason these "I should be relaxing" moments turn into collections.
